February 11, 2011 – ASTM C1743, Practice for Installation and Use of Radiant Barrier Systems (RBS) in Residential Building Construction, and ASTM C1744, Practice for Installation and Use of RBS in Commercial/Industrial Building Construction, provide information needed to install, use, and gain max performance from RBS. As member of development committee, Roy Akers claimed these standards “are written in very plain terms” to facilitate comprehension by diverse targeted users.
