Green Energy Barrier reflects radiant heat back in the direction where it came from thus acting as a radiant heat barrier.

In the summertime, the sun’s heat, which comes through your roof, is reflected before it penetrates your home.  In the wintertime, when heat rises and wants to escape from the ceiling and roof, our radiant barrier reflects this otherwise lost heat back into your home.  In the same way when you wrap a sweet potato or any other food item in aluminum foil, that food stays warm for a longer time because the foil is keeping the heat in and not escaping.  The energy savings can be huge.
